An exhibition of thesis work reviewed by members of the SCI-Arc faculty and distinguished local and visiting architects is open for public viewing. The exhibition will remain on view at SCI-Arc through September 17.
A follow-up "selected thesis" exhibition showcasing outstanding projects selected by the jurors will be on view in the SCI-Arc Gallery, September 20-October 1.
Confirmed visiting critics for 2010 include: Stefano Casciani, Sir Peter Cook, Jesse Reiser, Patrik Schumacher and Michael Speaks. Critics for 2009 included: Hitoshi Abe, Scott Colman, Kevin Daly, Neil Denari, Winka Dubbeldam, Fabrizio Gallanti, Frank Gehry, Christopher Hawthorne, Craig Hodgetts, Sharon Johnston, Jeffrey Kipnis, Tom Kovac, Sylvia Lavin, Mark Lee, Thomas Leeser, Greg Lynn, Qingyun Ma, Mark Mack, Michael Maltzan, Monica Ponce de Leon, Linda Pollari, Hadrian Predock, Heather Roberge, Jennifer Siegal, Elizabeth Smith, Michael Sorkin, Enrique Walker.
Graduation Ceremony and Reception

SCI-Arc Graduation Pavilion
This year's graduation festivities will take place at the newly designed Graduation Cathedral, located at the SCI-Arc parking lot at 350 Merrick Street, between 4th Street and Traction Avenue.
The ceremony will also be broadcast live online at www.sciarc.edu/live.
Sir Peter Cook--founder of Archigram, Director of CRAB, Professor of Architecture at the Royal Academy of Arts, London--will give this year's commencement speech entitled Let's fly - it's architecture. Faculty member, alumnus and trustee Joe Day (M.Arch '94) will give the alumni address.
Immediately following the ceremony, alumni and guests are invited to a reception where they can meet and congratulations this year's graduates and their families.
