Stefano Boeri + Cini Boeri: Stand, Love or Hate the Client

Stefano Boeri is a Milan-based architect. Boeri Studio focuses on architecture and urban design. He is the founder of the international research network "Multiplicity" and teaches Urban Design at Milan Polytechnic and at Harvard GSD. Since September 2007, Stefano Boeri is the editor in chief of the international magazine Abitare. In the recent past (2004-2007), he has been editor in chief of the Domus international magazine.
Cini Boeri graduated from the Politecnico of Milan in 1951; after a long period of collaboration with Marco Zanuso, she set up her own studio in 1963, applying herself to civil architecture and industrial design. Her architectural projects in Italy and abroad, published in many architecture magazines and books, include apartments, houses, shops, showrooms, office buildings, museums. She has devoted particular attention to the function of the house, focusing on the psychological relationship between man and his habitat. In the field of industrial design her project work has been aimed at the search for everything that can improve and simplify our way of living. Many of her projects can be seen at international exhibitions and museums all over the world.
