SCI-Arc Staffer James Peterson's Work Featured in West Hollywood Public Art Project
SCI-Arc Staffer James Peterson's work will be featured in a West Hollywood public art project. The City of West Hollywood will host the Eastside Arts Initiative's "Go to the Park" opening reception on Saturday, February 14, 2009 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Plummer Park, 7377 Santa Monica Boulevard. The Eastside Arts Initiative - Go to the Park is a site-specific public art project that shines a spotlight on West Hollywood's vibrant Eastside. Five temporary art projects will be installed in Plummer Park to honor the park's historical significance and its community value to the City of West Hollywood.

The artists and installations are:

* NONdesigns: "Apertures of Nature"

* James Peterson: "Cynara"

* John O'Brien & Cielo Pessione: "(in the) greening"

* GREENMEME: "Matroyshka"

* Karen Frimkiss Wolff & Dori Atlantis: "Past / Forward"
