SCI-Arc Faculty Joins Food Access Panel – June 1, 10:30am

Faculty member Michael Pinto (M.Arch2 '98), coordinator of SCI-Arc's Community Design Program and founder of Project Food LA, joins a panel discussion at UCLA to address the local workings of the food system in Los Angeles. Panelists include Robert Gottlieb, director of the Urban Environmental Policy Institute at Occidental College, and Aurora Flores, project coordinator with Healthy Eating, Active Communities (HEAC). The discussion is moderated by LA Times food writer and Daily Dish editor Mary MacVean.

When: Tuesday, June 1, 10:30am-noon
Where: UCLA Extension Lindbrook Center, Rm. 204
Admission: $30 (pay at the door)
