Faculty, Alumni Celebrate the Wearable at A+D Museum

On Saturday, March 10, SCI-Arc faculty Eric Kahn of IDEA Office, visiting critic Neil Denari, and alumni David Hertz (B.Arch ’83) and Iris Anna Regn (M.Arch ‘94), will see their innovative creations come down the runway before bids are placed at the A+D Museum’s annual fundraising gala.

Among those providing wearable pieces are architecture and furniture designer Karim Rashid, fashion designer Trina Turk, architects Robert A.M. Stern and Richard Meier, street artist Chase, and culinary artist Wolfgang Puck.

Kahn's "Black Dress" (shown here) was designed in collaboration with undergraduate student Carmelia Chiang (B.Arch '12).

A+D’s fundraising gala takes place Saturday, March 10, 7-10pm at the A+D Museum (6032 Wilshire Blvd., at S. Fairfax). Tickets can be purchased at
