SCI-Arc Director of Graduate Programs Hernan Diaz Alonso is scheduled to lecture and co-host several events in Italy, Slovenia, Austria and Croatia, in conjunction with the highly anticipated 2012 Venice Biennale.

Diaz Alonso was a participant in the Slovenian and Australian pavilions at the biennale and co-curated the "Dark Side" event (In) Toxic Sublimini, Grotesque Romanticizing, Nostal (Geek) Atmosphera at the Ca'Salvioni Castellor in Venice.
