Patrick Tighe Wins 2012 American Architecture Award

SCI-Arc faculty Patrick Tighe was awarded a 2012 American Architecture Award for his West Hollywood Housing project. The Mixed-Use Affordable Housing project addresses a severe housing shortage for tenants living with disabilities. The 70,000 sq ft mixed-use program brings higher density into the urban core of the city.

This marks the fourth American Architecture Award for Tighe. The American Architectural Awards are the highest and most prestigious distinguished building awards program that honors new and cutting-edge design.

This annual program, organized by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and the European Centre for Architecture Art Design has become the most significant and most comprehensive distinguished awards program in the United States.
