Inside SCI-Arc

Homes of SCI-Arc alumni on Eco-Tour

The home of SCI-Arc alums Rebecca Rudolph and Colin Thompson– which was featured in the Nov. 28 Home section of the Los Angeles Times -- will be part of the Dec. 6 Eastside Eco-Tour.

The residence of SCI-Arc alum Barbara Bestor (M.Arch, '92) is also featured on the tour.

Rudolf (M.Arch, '00) and Thompson (B.Arch, '97), who met while attending SCI-Arc, bought their 1923 cottage in Atwater Village nine years ago. They faced more challenges than the size of the 500-square-foot home. "It was basically a tear-down," Rudolph says. But the couple didn't want to demolish the house. They renovated it instead.
