Faculty Members, Alumni Selected Among 2011 Emerging Voices

SCI-Arc faculty member Marcelo Spina and Georgina Huljich of Patterns, and alumni Benjamin Ball (B.Arch '94) and Gaston Nogues (B.Arch '93) of Ball-Nogues Studio were selected to participate in the high-profile 2011 Emerging Voices lecture series organized by the Architectural League of New York. Both firms are scheduled to lecture on March 30, starting 7pm, at New York's New Museum located at 235 Bowery.

The annual program spotlights individuals and firms with a distinct design 'voice' that has the potential to influence the discipline of architecture, and urban design.

Ball-Nogues Studio, Cradle, Santa Monica, Calif.; Patterns, Jujuy Redux, Rosario, Argentina.

Since 1982, the juried series has featured architects and designers from throughout North America who have a significant body of realized work that not only represents the best of its kind, but also creatively address larger issues of architecture, landscape, and the built environment.
