| Our corporate/studio partnership program enables companies and SCI-Arc students the opportunity to work together to devise innovative strategies and solutions that respond to a specific design/planning/building need or issue. Companies may ask SCI-Arc students to test emerging technology, propose new applications for current practices, or research the feasibility of conceptual projects. SCI-Arc students respond to the challenge in the context of a studio, which combines classroom instruction and hands-on trial, building, and making. Corporate partners work with faculty to identify the topic of study and the appropriate curriculum structure.
Our corporate partners benefit by receiving inventive and original ideas generated through the studio experience. Interactions between corporate partners and SCI-Arc students may also help companies introduce fresh thinking and new ideas into the workplace, and identify potential interns and future employees. |
