Students who have completed the core requirements of their program are
able to choose from a range of elective seminars and design studios,
taught by both SCI-Arc instructors and visiting faculty and
representing a range of points-of-view. As well as choosing from design
studios led by renowned architects from Los Angeles and around the
world, students are able to select seminars and workshops in subjects
that have included creative writing, photography, film, critical
theory, animation, life drawing, graphic design and environmental
design, taught by experts in their fields.
