Platforms and Automation Lab operates at the intersection of design, technology, and culture to provide the infrastructure for advanced research into these areas.

The lab uses cutting edge equipment and software, including an architectural scale robotics facility, advanced sensing hardware, and powerful multi-GPU computer workstations for faculty-led funded research projects. The lab also provides opportunities for students through research assistant positions and designated courses to participate and benefit from the most advanced architectural research.
