Miniatures Exhibition 2018

Featuring work of SCI-Arc's graduate thesis class, this exhibit showcases preliminary models produced by the students to convey the essence of their thesis projects, which will conclude in three days of reviews on September 7th, 8th and 9th. The exhibition at Hauser & Wirth marks the beginning of the thesis process and is titled ‘Miniature’, the miniature as opposed to a model describes an idea of an architectural proposal that is more attune to concepts of context, building scale and architectural detail, instead of an abstract investigation it represents a tangible study of a future proposal. The models are viewed as a snapshot of the current state of the projects and are presented in a number of different mediums relative to each thesis.
