SCI-Arc Faculty Recognized in The Architect’s Newspaper 2025 Best of Design Awards
Everson Museum of Art - MILLIONS.
Three projects led by SCI-Arc faculty have been recognized in the 2025 Best of Design Awards by The Architect’s Newspaper, an annual program highlighting significant work across architecture, exhibitions, and the built environment.
Marcelo Spina, faculty at SCI-Arc and co-founder of PATTERNS, was recognized in the Unbuilt Architecture, Healthcare category for the Victory Wellness Center. The project transforms a former industrial building into a wellness-focused community space through adaptive reuse and a clear architectural framework.
Print Ready Drawings - Current Interests.
Matthew Au and Mira Henry, faculty at SCI-Arc and founders of Current Interests, were recognized in the Exhibition Design category for Print Ready Drawings. The project centers the architectural drawing as both medium and labor, examining how printed drawings circulate ideas, authorship, and production within architectural culture.
Zeina Koreteim, faculty at SCI-Arc and co-founder of MILLIONS, was recognized in the Interior Architecture category for the Everson Museum of Art. The project introduces a contemporary interior intervention that engages I. M. Pei’s original structure through spatial restraint, material clarity, and careful contrast.
Together, these recognitions reflect the range of work emerging from SCI-Arc faculty practices, from civic and cultural architecture to exhibition-making and research-driven design.
