Dieter Schoellnberger
Dieter joined CTF Development International—the global real estate and hospitality group behind Rosewood Hotels & Resorts—in 2017 to lead the Design & Construction Department. In this role, he oversees all design aspects across CTF’s. portfolio in Europe, North and South America, and the Caribbean. His projects include the renovation of Rosewood London, Rosewood Amsterdam, The Carlyle Hotel, Rosewood Castiglion del Bosco, Rosewood Little Dix Bay, Rosewood São Paulo, and The Beverly Wilshire. In addition, he is involved in new developments at Baha Mar Resort, Calistoga Hills, and Ascaya, a private luxury community overlooking Las Vegas.
Prior to joining CTF, Dieter served as Vice President of Property Development for André Balazs Properties and Standard International. During this time, he oversaw established landmark properties such as Château Marmont, The Mercer, and The Standard Hotels, while playing a key role in the development of Chiltern Firehouse and The Standard Hotel in London.
Dieter is an architect with over 25 years of experience in architecture, construction, and interior design, leading hospitality and mixed-use projects worldwide. He studied architecture at the University of Technology in Vienna and, as a Fulbright Scholar, earned a Master of Science in Architectural Design from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation in New York.
