Donna Johnson

Donna was born in Palo Alto California and was raised in an Air Force family. She attended 13 schools in 8 states, Scotland and Korea.   She was awarded both a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and her MBA from Arizona State University.  Donna spent most of her career in leadership roles at America West Airlines (briefly consulting for US Airways) and then, joined The Phoenix Zoo as VP of HR and Administration. Donna was also an adjunct faculty member at ASU teaching in the Organizational Leadership Department. She is married to Steve Johnson and has a 24-year-old son, Max, currently in graduate school. She spends the majority of her time in philanthropic leadership roles and fundraising for local and national charities. She is on the board of directors of several non-profits and teaches yoga part time from her home.
