Making+Meaning (M+M) is SCI-Arc’s four-week summer studio for creative exploration, design experimentation, and portfolio building.
Making+Meaning
Open to college students, recent graduates, professionals, and anyone curious about architecture, the program combines fast-paced projects with emerging technologies, including AI, to spark ambitious ideas and expand creative skills. Participants work in a collaborative studio environment, develop a polished portfolio, and present their work in a public exhibition. No prior design experience is required.

Confirmation of Registration
Students who complete the registration will receive a confirmation from the SCI-Arc Office of Admissions.
SCI-Arc does not issue an I-20 Form to international students attending Making+Meaning. International students attending this workshop will be responsible for acquiring their own visa for the duration of the program
The Making+Meaning summer studio program exposes participants to a wide range of techniques within a conceptual design framework, pitting the everyday against the unusual to create exploratory content and experiences.
